Our concept

A key feature of RMIT’s New Academic Street is flexibility of its spaces. The Retail Activation District (RAD) has a number of pop-up sites, Providing Opportunities for Development (PODs), creating destinations for events, activities, performances, markets and business opportunities for students, staff and alumni. There will be a total of four pop-ups –  two food & beverage offers and two retail product areas, with operators  changing on a regular basis to ensure diversity and engagement via change.

The four new spaces can be found in the New Academic Street Retail Activation District on level 4 Swanston Street & Bowen Terrace.

You can see exactly where they’ll be on our Interactive Map.
