As part of a Work Integrated Learning Program, students from second and third year communications courses were required to respond to briefs from the NAS team.
Each brief focused on a key aspect of the New Academic Street project, with students working individually and as groups to develop integrated communication plans that targeted either RMIT Staff, Students or the general public.
Using NAS as the client, they were given the opportunity to work on a ‘real’ campaign and gain skills in research, media management, content production, pitching and presenting.
Throughout the semester, students worked on videos, feature articles, blog posts, infographics and posters that showcased key features of NAS to their specific audience – with outstanding students being invited to realise their work as part of the NAS project.
